WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Communication and Community Outreach Officer. This position will be based in Palangkaraya and report to Sebangau Katingan Landscape Manager.
This position will act as a vocal point for WWF-Indonesia / USAID LESTARI in facilitating, defining, designing and implementing communication plans and campaigns on the implementation of Forest / land protection Projects / Programs in high conservation value areas, and sustainable development in Central Kalimantan, and in managing relationships with community goals related to project / program objectives in accordance with WWF-Indonesia / USAID LESTARI policies and procedures to ensure stakeholders get adequate and accurate information, provide awareness for local communities, understanding and support for WWF Indonesia and USAID LESTARI.
Requirements for this position are:
· Minimum hold Bachelor Degree (S-1) or above with Communication, Mass communication, Public Relation and relevant major
· At least 6 years work in the field of conservation and / or sustainable development or relevant fields
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
