The Agriculture finance officer will support the Team Leader to ensure that at least 1,000 rice/corn/Cacao farming in two subdistricts in Sigi District will increase the yield after the disaster through improving access agricultural input, financial, output and advisory services. S/he will work with the Agriculture program Officer and will develop collaboration with the formal financial institutions (microfinance institution, commercial bank and insurance company), agricultural input providers/suppliers, and local traders/off-takers.
*This position will be hired as temporary staff for 9 months
Qualifications:
- University degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Finance or related fields;
- 5 years of agricultural financing and business development experiences;
- Experience in conducting economic research and assessment in business development and access to finance for rice/corn/cocoa farmers;
- Experience in design and implementing the financial literacy on financial and business/entrepreneurship for farmer groups/farmer group unions/female farmer groups.
- The experience worked with local government agencies and private companies;
- Computers skills with strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
